Mine, All Mine

Studio1

The place I spend most of my time when I’m home is my studio. As I mentioned in last week’s post entitled My Pretty Porch on May Day, we built my home office from half of an existing back porch to accommodate my graphic design business. It has a separate entrance and it once had large oak flat files and a conference table where I met with clients. Now that my graphic design days are behind me, I’ve sacrificed the upper level of the studio to my dear husband for his workout equipment. The rest of the space is mine, all mine, and as you can see, it’s a little bit of this and that.

When I got home from T-Party yesterday, I loved the way the sunlight was streaming in so I couldn’t help but take some photos to share with you.

It’s important for me to have my own space in our house, a place where I can be surrounded by inspiration and all of my favorite things. I hope you enjoyed this little peek at my studio.

I love your studio! All that light and those beautifully framed windows. What a great place to spend time.

love your space (of course!) but especially love your use of vintage items re-purposed as storage.

What a great space. I think every woman needs a little place to call her own. Yours suits you!

Cheers! LA

Love all the goodies you have here and there, inspiration abounds in every corner!

So beautiful. The jars and little wonderful trinkets are simply lovely.

Susan,

Organized and cute!

Lovely! Having just carved out my own space in our home, I can totally relate to your need for that. It's essential, isn't it? I've spent every bit of my spare time up there this week, after having gotten it all settled over the weekend. Pure bliss.

Such a colorful and charming room. Thanks for sharing! Absolutely adorable! Well, at least your half! ; )

What a charming personal space. I love it and would spend a lot of time there. I look forward to having my own room one day. Enjoy it Susan.

Ahh, your studio is not only inspirational, it is adorable too! And of course! Everything you do is adorable!I just love the coziness of it! I do have one teeny tiny complaint however - your pictures aren't "clickable"... I want to click on them and see them bigger! LOL The MORE we can see of your pretty tea room and home, the better!!! ;-)
