The T-Cozy's Kindred Spirit Award

As part of this cozy blogging community for the last year and a half, I have come across many people to whom I have similar interests; so much so that I consider them kindred spirits. They are the kind of folks that, if they lived around the corner, I would see ask over for an impromptu cup of tea or a spontaneous trip to the flea market. They prefer vintage over new and collect unusual and sometimes silly items. In other words; they "get it."

How nice it has been to find so many others that share the same  excitement when they discover an antique treasure, re-purpose a vintage item, rearrange the furniture in a room for the third time, find an old piece of bark cloth, come to a screeching halt for an estate sale sign . . . and the list can go on and on.

I've decided to call attention to these wonderful bloggers with my very own award dedicated to these kindred spirits. Because if you like The T-Cozy, I'm sure you'll like what you'll find on these inspiring blogs . . .

Julie of Jane's Apron. An artist who has a great eye for design and vintage finds!

Vintage Cate of A Charmed Life. A gifted writer and collector who even has a room dedicated to tea!

Susan of Black Eyed Susan's Kitchen. A collector who is able to pull together vignettes like no other!

Cece Marie of All Dolled Up. A young lady with a vision who is a talented apron designer!

Are you a blogger who has come across others you feel are kindred spirits? Then award away! There are really no rules for this new little award. I plan to give it out whenever the kindred spirit moves me, and I hope you'll do the same. It's completely laid back and the winners have no obligation to continue the award giving. And you can give it to as many people as you like, whenever you'd like. The only requirement is that you must link back to this original award announcement post.
