We spent this past weekend in Baltimore, a city brimming with creative and quirky inspiration. On a previous trip, I shared pictures of a spectacular powder room in a (now closed) restaurant called Ixia. And here's another! Below are photos of the unique ladies room ceiling in a beloved Baltimore cafe called Golden West.
Aren't these paper parasols beautiful? What a dramatic yet simple way to hide a not-so-pretty ceiling.
This week, be sure to stop back for more inspiration from Baltimore.Susan

Darn, that they closed the restaurant...I loved that other powder room.
The parasols are uber cool, too. I have a few from Chinatown that I have been wanting to hang somewhere, sometime.

I love it! And, I'm so glad that I'm not the only one who posts pictures of public restrooms...I just posted one about 2 posts ago. :)

Susan, What a great idea and what beautiful parasols. This is truly inspired design. Thanks for "catching" it and sending it out.
