My SoNo MarketPlace stall is shaping up nicely. Come on in . . .
Yesterday, I put up my sign, making my presence at this new undertaking official. As you can see, I have brought in all sorts of furniture pieces that will be used to display the whimsical, eclectic mix of vintage items that T-Party Antiques is known for.
I found the narrow wooden ladder at an estate sale last weekend. It will hold vintage linens, and more tablecloths will be featured along the window on a folding screen that John and I refurbished. The little green desk will display fun children's items.
A Victorian crib will be filled with my handmade bark cloth pillows. They turned out well; I'll share a photo of them with you next time. And the Hoosier cabinet in the corner will eventually have its doors wide open revealing an array of vintage kitchenware.
I'm looking forward to bringing in the variety of "smalls" that will bring my booth to life. I also plan to fill the walls with vintage prints, my handmade pennant banners, and lots more.
I can't wait to merchandise my stall. But with construction still underway on the various food vendor's spaces, there is a lot of sawdust in the air. Once the kitchen build-outs are complete and the dust settles, I'll bring in the rest of my items.
At this time, the SoNo Marketplace is running about one month behind schedule, so it looks like opening day will be in early November. I'll keep you posted. But rest assured, it will be worth the wait!
