I've just hit a major blogging milestone. This is my 1,000th post!
Do you remember this banner? It's the one I designed back in March of 2007 when I wrote my very first post. Over the past five years and eight months, I have tried my best to share what I am passionate about. I do hope that I have offered some inspiration and that you have enjoyed this little peek into my corner of the world. My heartfelt thanks for your support and loyal readership.
With a hectic schedule ahead, I'll be taking a much needed blogging break. While I recharge my blogging batteries over the next week, please feel free to leave a comment. You can tell me about what you've liked (or not liked) about my blog, share your latest creative project, brag about something you're proud of, or just let me know what's on your mind. I'd love to hear from all of you. And even though I won't be posting this week, I will be responding to comments by leaving a few of my own.

Congratulations on 1000 blog posts! I am quickly approaching my third year of writing Ash Tree Cottage. I decided to launch my own site after spending hours reading several wonderful blogs of which The T Cozy was one. I do remember your original banner! I felt an instant kinship with you via your writing and your pics. From 2007 to 2010, I was going through a very difficult time assisting the care giving of my father who was suffering with Alzheimer's. There were many sleepless nights spent on my Mac surfing through the cozy blogs that provided me with a much needed haven. Over the years you have continued to inspire, amuse and to educate me. For that I am thankful. I will continue to visit you for as long as you keep The T-Cozy up and running! Enjoy your break and I look forward to your return.

I love your blog...it is so inspiring to me.
I love to collect vintage and also scrapbook.Looking at your pictures give me inspiration to create.
It is nice that you share pictures and stories about your travels and your family too:)

Susan first I want to say I love reading your blog because you write so well and your pictures are always awesome. You take me to places I know I will never get to.
