For your viewing pleasure, here are some of my latests finds . . .
My friend Donna found several vintage books for me, one of which is a charming 1940s book called 100 Animal Stories. (Thanks Donna!) Lately, I can't seem to keep vintage cook books in stock in both my Etsy shop and SoNo Market Place booth. I stopped by my favorite thrift store this week and scored a couple more, along with two art pottery vases in aqua and light green.
This Hide and Seek book was given to me by Liz, a fellow marketplace vendor. (Thanks Liz!) Tiny, adorable, and definitely a keeper.
More vintage goodies from the thrift shop — a cute Shu Shine Bank carrier, a red metal napkin holder, a pair of white and red square canisters with Bakelite knobs, a red Tartan plaid lunchbox, and a ridiculously kitschy cat desk caddy.
As you may know, since late November I've been working on the weekends. This schedule hinders my ability to shop the estate sales in my area, so it has been a challenge finding the time to procure more items for my shops. However, I suppose that is a good problem to have, as it means I'm moving the merch and need more. But you know what I really could use? A couple of good pickers!
Susan

Elsie~ I wish you could be my picker! You have the best eye!

Susan you scored well. The chain thrift stores here are so high you couldn't make a profit. We have a church thrift store that has good prices but it's rare you find any thing good. I love your cat desk set and those canisters are wonderful. If I lived closer I'd be your picker, but I would have a hard time giving it to you. LOL. Guess its a good thing I don't live closer huh. :)
