One month down, and so far I have found 29 vintage lunch boxes.
With 30 more to go to complete the project by mid-April, I'm now at the half-way point of this challenging lunch box project. Then all 59 will be shipped off to Portland, Oregon, a place I've never been but have always wanted to visit. Wish I could deliver them in person!

Curious to know where they are going in Portland (where I live). Part of a store display? Will give you a heads up if I see any for sale...
You should visit Portland...AWESOME city!

Cool, are they going to decorate with them?
I love the red plaid ones. If I see any I will let you know.

My goodness, where are you finding all of those? I had a red plaid when I was in elementary school, 100's of years ago. Just got off the phone talking with my brother who lives in Portland. It is a lovely city. I hope we can see the display when it is finished.
