We're back from Martha's Vineyard having had a spectacular week! Here are a few highlights from our trip . . .
My son, husband and daughter enjoy an early evening stroll to the Edgartown Harbor Lighthouse.
Creative planters at my favorite island store, Pik-Nik, and in the center, some of the historic cottages in the Oak Bluffs Campmeeting Association.
Every year, I can't resist buying a bouquet to enjoy throughout the week from the Zinnia stand near our house.
A view of Sengecontacket Pond from the lovely home we rent.
Another Oak Bluffs gingerbread cottage. This one is aptly named "Summertime."
Alley's is a true New England general store. It's up-island and has been in business since 1858.
Sunset at The Outermost Inn where we enjoyed a fabulous four course dinner our last night on the island.
From the most amazing sunsets to lazy days on the beach, we are basking in the glow of our most favorite place. The memories are sure to last us through the year until we return again next summer.
Susan
Thank you for your visit. I've been once to MV for a day trip on the ferry. It was beautiful.
Cheers! LA

I miss the island already. It seems as if we were there only yesterday (Wait a minute, we were there yesterday) Seriously, it was a wonderful vacation in a truly magical place. It's nice to have these amazing photos to look at from time to time.

Welcome home. It all look heavenly and very much reminds me of Bainbridge Island. Isn't there something about living on a island. Now I live next to an island but not on it and it is not the same. There is this rhythm. It is wonderful. It all looks soo charming. Someday I will have to go. We missed you and are happy you are home xoxoxo Clarice

The Outermost Inn on Martha's Vineyard... memories. :) I was there once because I'm a HUGE James Taylor fan and wanted to meet his brother. HA! It's a beautiful and peaceful spot. Lovely photos.

What beautiful photographs! I am a Southern gal, living in Virginia and always heading points "South." However, your posts and pictures make me increasing desire a trip or "more" to New England!

Thank you for all the fun & inspirational posts on your blog, they brightened my day with colours and happy thoughts. Especially the post full of photos from the Vineyard.
I am a East Coast gal that has strayed far from home and thoroughly enjoyed the way you shared your memories of the area.
