Another upcoming Knit Nook offering in October at T-Party is a Hallowig class, with the finished piece being this wacky wig!
This series is for knitters who want to learn the skills they need for making sweaters without the commitment to a large project. They can easily do the amount of knitting called for by the end of the month and will still get plenty of experience with shaping, using circular or double pointed needles, and even three-needle bind-off, an advanced technique used in sweaters. It should be fun for those who want a challenge.
This three session class will be held on October 4, 11 and 25 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Call (203) 662-9689 to reserve a space. And then you'll have your Hallowig all done in time for Halloween!
