Wouldn't you love to be living in your dream cottage someday? I sure hope to. But Claudia, of the blog called Mockingbird Hill Cottage, is already there. And today, I have chosen her for my (tag-free) Kindred Spirit Award. Claudia is a former university professor of theater who moved from the West to the East coast four years ago. She is now a voice and dialect coach who lives in the sweetest cottage with her actor/songwriter husband.
Like the other winners of this award, Claudia is the kind of gal that, if she lived around the corner, I would ask over for an impromptu cup of tea or a spontaneous trip to the flea market. She prefers vintage over new and is an ardent collector. Claudia loves vintage pottery, particularly McCoy pieces. Shown above and below, she groups them together by color and creates inspiring displays. Claudia and I most certainly have a similar collecting philosophy, so you can see why I find her a Kindred Spirit!

To Claudia, this Kindred Spirit Award is just a simple way for me to say "Thanks for sharing what you're passionate about. It's been a pleasure getting to know you." To visit Claudia and her lovely little cottage in the country, click here.

Oh Susan, thank you so much! I feel the same way about you. I know that we would so enjoy a cup of tea and a flea market together - and I would love to see all of your pottery! We're not that far from each other - maybe a day trip to Rowayton is in order in the future!
Thanks so much!
