I adore old textiles. Their colors, patterns and textures are like nothing you'll find in contemporary fabrics. Here are some recent finds that I've just listed in my Etsy shop. Aren't they wonderful?
The fun 1950's abstract fabric, below, sold a couple of days ago. Luckily I had another remnant to list today. But as I was typing up this post, it sold, too!
I no longer have the lovely butterfly bark cloth below. It also sold within minutes of listing it and now has a new home in Australia.
There seems to be a lot of interest in these vintage textiles. They are so perfect for small sewing projects like pillows, tote bags, eyeglass cases and make-up bags. I'll have to keep my eye out for more.Susan
They don't make em like they used to. I love the top one !!!

I love that 1950's abstract and sorry I missed out on it! Something about these older fabrics, they just feel great -

What lovely surprises to come see after being so busy this summer. You are so good at keeping your blog and shop updated.
I'm choosing your lovely vintage fabrics as the best of your latest blogs.
LOVE your new header, see I have been gone a bit. It's fresh to me, and it's simply lovely.
