Thank you for your book recommendations! I read "Little Bee" and "As the Great World Spins". The latter takes place when Philippe Petit crossed the wire between the WTC towers. I actually saw him that day. I was on my way to my job downtown and everyone was looking up. I stepped back into a doorway, looked up, and saw a speck on a line! The book isn't really about him, but about fictional events that get pulled together at that time.

What wonderful Summer Reading suggestions, thank you. I just finished re-reading Edith Wharton's House of Mirth. Since I usually have more than one going at a time, I also finished Elin Hilderbrand's newest The Island. I have managed to finish all of Elin's beachy Nantucket based novels these last two summers. Thnaks again!!
