I have watched Shirley Temple's Heidi several times. I just love it. I have often fantasized about having my own "the grandfather" in the forest. Ahhhh . . .

Truth is, I'm a fool for almost any Shirley Temple movie. The Little Princess? Forget about it. :)

I love The Little Princess movie, too!!!

What a beautiful find! They just don't make them like they use to, do they?

That book is in great shape! My kids haven't seen Heidi, but they've seen Curly Top AND The Bachelor and the Bobby Soxer so they know Shirley!

this is one of my favorite books from childhood. I even have a Heidi doll from my childhood(the 50's). Recently I watched the Shirley Temple movie and reread the book....I love it!!

I'm more of a book person and Heidi was one of the first books I read. Later I read Heidi Grows Up and Heidi's Children (where the mystery of Grandfather's isolation is revealed). Thanks for the memories of those books. I'm on the look-out for them now.

Everyone needs to watch Shirley Temple's movies. I have always loved them. I have them ALL. I will never tire of them.
And I collect "Heidi" things - I mean I have to, right? They have my name on them!

WOW...I am in awe of that find!

My 5-year-old daughter recently watched about an hour of the Shirley Temple Heidi and LOVED it, I was so happy!
