Each year, on the last evening of our week on Martha's Vineyard, we have dinner at a nice restaurant in Edgartown. Then we stroll to the lighthouse to watch the sunset. Along our way, we pass stately antique houses that line the shore. These classic homes have white clapboard siding, black shutters, picket fences, glorious gardens and water views. Aren't they lovely?
At the end of the street is a small boardwalk leading to Edgartown Lighthouse. This annual stroll is the perfect way to end our stay on Martha's Vineyard.
Now that I am home, I'll be sharing more inspiring MV views with you this week, along with the array of fun vintage items I found at various flea markets around the island.
