Do you remember my vintage lunch box challenge? A few years ago, I was asked to procure 59 of them within three months… and I did it! Then I sent them off to Oregon where they were re-purposed into guest room lamps for a hotel in Portland.
Recently, I wondered what ever became of those lamps. So I googled the Governor Hotel and was surprised to learn that it's now called the Sentinel Hotel. I was also surprised to see one of my lunch boxes right on their home page.
When I explored their rooms link, several more pics of the lamps turned up.
I shared these photos on Instagram and was pleased to hear back from the hotel. They kindly thanked me and told me how their guests love the lamps. I'm so glad. That was one fun project!
